The National Gallery of Iceland will host the Icelandic premiere of the renowned Swiss
American artist Christian Marclay’s masterwork, The Clock, 2010, a 24-hour single-channel video. The exhibition will take place from the 2nd of May 2025 to the 22nd of June 2025 in Reykjavik, Iceland.

La Peau Entre les Doigts is a choreographic dispositivethat experiment in live performance and proposes to instigate questions of positionality, the perceptions of the other, to challenge social identity marks. La Peau Entre Les Doigts performs a physically engaged body dancing, that plays while deviating.
"Some pianists approach the instrument like it's a cathedral-Sylvie Courvoisier sometimes treats it like a playground," observes Kevin Whitehead aptly in the liner notes to D'Agala (Intakt), the latest album by the Sylvie Courvoisier Trio. "In two minutes, she covers more ground than some pianists get to in a set." He goes on to compare the venturesome interaction of this trio with a pioneering jazz icon from the 1950s: "There is something Herbie Nichols-like about the Courvoisier-Gress-Wollesen trio's feel: collective music-making as light-on-its-feet fun; a genuine trio music in which bass and drums are full partners with piano."
That striking cohesion and collective sense of play are what mark the Swiss pianist and her esteemed American rhythm mates as kindred spirits in the areas of color, groove and melody. The group's European tour in April-May 2018 celebrates the January release of D'Agala. Courvoisier, who has been a fixture on the New York scene for nearly 20 years, released her first album with Gress and Wollesen in 2014, when Double Windsor (Tzadik) was named Album of the Year by both Slate and New York City Jazz Record, along with receiving the "CHOC" from Jazz Magazine and Jazzman in France.
Beyond the trio, Courvoisier earned renown for balancing two distinct worlds- the richly detailed depth of her European chamber-music roots and the grooving, hook-laden sounds of the downtown New York jazz scene. Her long partnership with violinist Mark Feldman - acclaimed on both sides of the Atlantic - has resulted in a seemingly telepathic duo, as well as a quartet. Courvoisier has worked with a who's who in avant-jazz, including John Zorn, Wadada Leo Smith, Evan Parker, Ikue Mori, Ellery Eskelin, Susie Ibarra, Fred Frith and Mary Halvorson. - Bradley Bambarger

Featuring the dynamic rhythm section of Kenny Wollesen and Drew Gress, the music combines the best of improvisation and composition in the classic piano trio format. The dance productions "Little Joy", "Romeo, Romeo, Romeo" and "Kill Your Darlings" go on air Tour to Norway, Northern Germany, Croatia and Australia. Altogether about 25 Performances and 9 dance workshops are planned.

Klaus Johann Grobe is a duo of Zurich and Basel. Their third album "Du bist so symmetrisch" was released last October and the Swiss pop band has been playing concerts ever since, among others on 16 March in Oslo im Blå.
Inversia has started in Murmansk (RU) 3 years ago as the festival to shift the traditional
negative perception of darkness and to realise its difficult intersections with light in the design
of audiovisual experience. Now it has developed into an international platform to study the
phenomena of cultural isolation and apathy and their overcoming in new art forms, all
conditioned by the High North surroundings. This year, among Northern Europe based artists,
we invite Swiss explorers as well.
Since the 3 years of "Priority Jazz Promotion" (2012-2015), VEIN has continuously developed and in spring 2019 it is once again able to stage an attractive tour together.
The CD with the program "Symphonic Bop" with works by VEIN will be released worldwide on March 8 and performed with the Norrbotten Big Band in Sweden and Basel. In spring 2019, VEIN will concentrate on this program, which will be performed mainly as a trio.
The exhibition project "Lots of tiny people" evolves around Rudolf Steiner´s Blackboard Drawings. Along with the Steiners Blacboards, ten artist will participate in the exhibition and reflect on Steiners ideas where the value of spiritual practice where the guiding principle. They are from Canada, Netherlands, German, Iceland and Switzerland. The exhibition will take place at Gerðarsafn - Kópavogur Art Museum January - April 2019.

Trials of Money turns the theatre into a court of justice. The audience is invited to take part in the Special Tribunal for Semi-Human Persons that, instead of human subjects or legal entities, puts that very complex "thing" on trial that we most commonly call "money". Can money be held responsible for the disastrous state the world is in today?
Carlo Ciceri will write a new version of his piece Vana entitled "Vana e d'amore" in occasion of the Skalholt Summer Festival which will be held in Iceland at the beginning of July 2018.
