The Embassy of Switzerland in Zimbabwe, in collaboration with Stimulus Africa, is excited to announce the launch of the first cycle of the Swiss Arts and Culture Fund (#SSADZA) for Zimbabwe' Creative and Cultural Industries (CCI's). This initiative offers grant funding to strengthen Zimbabwe’s vibrant CCI's, supporting artistic expression and sustainable cultural development.

Applications are open from 25 November, 2024, through to 31 December, 2024. Full details, including the application form and eligibility requirements, are available on the Stimulus Africa website.

Important information for visa applicants living in Zimbabwe

Effective 1 January 2024, Switzerland will no longer be represented by the Embassy of France in Harare. As of 1 January 2024, all visa applications for a Schengen visa for a stay of up to 90 days should be submitted to VFS Global. VFS Global can be contacted for appointments starting 11 December 2023. Processing of Visas will start from 03 January 2024.

National visa applications for a stay of more than 90 days have to be submitted at the Regional Consular Centre Southern Africa in Pretoria, South Africa.
