La FOSIT est une fédération de 58 ONG, activement engagée depuis 1999 dans la Suisse italienne qui soutient la coopération internationale au développement et l’aide humanitaire et les projets des associations membres. Elle promeut la qualité institutionnelle et opérationnelle de ses membres et mobilise des partenaires publics et privés qui soutiennent financièrement les projets des ONG, et les activités de la FOSIT: le renforcement des capacités des ONG, la sensibilisation du public sur le développement durable, avec un cadre de référence précis, l’Agenda 2030.

The GEH Alliance promotes gender equality, engages with most vulnerable groups for their sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), takes action to prevent sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and provides support to survivors. It includes men and boys in transformative processes of unequal gender relations and the prevention of SGBV. In 19 countries with partly very fragile contexts, the alliance promotes inclusive access to mother-child health through targeted policy dialogue and the strengthening of local health systems.
International Development Association (IDA) 20 – Core Contribution 2022-2025

IDA helps the world’s poorest countries to end poverty, build shared prosperity, tackle crises and promote sustainable development. As part of the World Bank Group, IDA is a key source of support and knowledge for countries to implement the 2030 Agenda. The core contribution to IDA allows Switzerland, as a top ten donor, to remain an influential member of the WBG. IDA’s priority themes – climate, jobs, fragility, human capital, gender – align closely with Swiss development priorities. IDA was founded in 1960 and Switzerland became a member in 1992.

SUD, OCHA: Sudan Humanitarian Fund 2023

The SHF is a country-based pooled fund that contributes to saving lives and protecting people in need by strengthening a coordinated and principled humanitarian response. Since 2006, the SHF has received over USD 1.4 bn from 15 countries and private donors. It enables humanitarian actors to respond early and fast to humanitarian needs set out in the Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP) and to critical emergency incidences. All interventions are in line with the Minimum Operating Standards approved by the Humanitarian Country Team.

A l’est de la RDC, la mortalité maternelle et infantile reste un défi majeur en raison du manque d'accès à des services de santé appropriés, des compétences limitées du personnel soignant et d’une gouvernance déficitaire du système de santé. Forte de son expérience en santé materno-infantile, la Suisse contribue à améliorer I'accès aux soins de santé de qualité pour les femmes et les enfants de 0-5 ans, à promouvoir la prévention des maladies et à renforcer la surveillance épidémiologique (y compris le Mpox) et la gouvernance sectorielle.
KOS: Matching Skills for Jobs ( MSJ)

The "Matching Skills to Jobs" (MSJ) project aims to strengthen Vocational Education Training system through policy reforms, strategic planning, and capacity building of VET governing institutions to deliver highquality education that aligns with market demands. Against historic levels of food security due to conflicts, climate change and COVID-19, Switzerland supports annually in 28 SDC priority countries operations of the World Food Programme (WFP) to provide humanitarian and development assistance. It funds indistinctively Country Strategic Plans, incorporating all WFP programmes or projects, based on affected population needs and potential synergies with other local partners, especially national governments and civil society.

Fondation Kantha Bopha – Dr med. Beat Richner

Switzerland has supported the Kanta Bopha Hospitals since 1995. Today they have become of systemic importance in the Cambodian health system, and provide comprehensive pediatric services to 8 out of 10 severely sick children in Cambodia. In this last phase, Switzerland will support the Hospitals setting up a system to sustainably access health care reimbursements through social health insurance. In parallel the core financial contribution is phased out.
