In line with the Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD) principles, Switzerland recognizes the necessity of predictable and flexible funding to respond to changing needs in humanitarian crises. SDC funding to UNHCR operations allows the UN Refugee Agency to respond proactively and to provide immediate protection and assistance to refugees and internally displaced people in life-threatening situations and underfunded emergencies.

Dal crollo dell'Unione sovietica nel 1991, il numero di animali da reddito in Mongolia è quasi triplicato, con conseguenze disastrose sui terreni da pascolo. La DSC ha sviluppato un pacchetto di misure finalizzate a promuovere lo sfruttamento sostenibile dei pascoli, la salute del bestiame e l’efficace commercializzazione dei prodotti di origine animale. In questo modo aiuta i pastori nomadi ad assicurarsi i mezzi di sussistenza a lungo termine.

Contribution to UNAIDS, the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS

UNAIDS is well positioned to guide and coordinate the global HIV/AIDS response through the provision of strategic information, analyses and political advocacy and leadership. UNAIDS contributes to prevent and reduce new HIV infections, AIDS related deaths and related stigma and discrimination. As such, UNAIDS significantly contributes to the SDG target of ending the AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030.

Garante de qualité et d’une bonne gestion financière, elle est, pour ses membres, un lieu central d’échanges, de formation, de capitalisation et de cofinancements de projets. Par son travail d’information, elle sensibilise les élus et la population vaudoise aux enjeux globaux.

Mit dem strategischen Ziel 7 in der Botschaft 2017-2020 bekräftigt die DEZA die Gleichstellung der Geschlechter als Schlüssel für Armutsreduktion und leistet einen Beitrag zur Umsetzung der Genderziele der Agenda 2030. Thematische Prioritäten sind die Geschlechtergleichstellung in fragilen Kontexten sowie die Stärkung der ökonomischen und politischen Partizipation von Frauen. Wichtigste Massnahmen sind ein strategischer Politikdialog, Investition in Wissens-management und Gender Expertise sowie Capacity Building und Qualitätssicherung für verstärkte Wirkungsorientierung.  

Fondation Terre des Hommes (TdHL) (Kredite Süd & HH)

Le programme de la Fondation TdhL vise à réduire de manière durable la mortalité et la morbidité enfantine, à permettre l’accès à la santé, à l’eau et à l’assainissement pour les mères et enfants les plus pauvres à protéger les enfants victimes de conflits et de catastrophes, à développer des systèmes de protection de l’enfant et à promouvoir les bonnes pratiques en matière de justice pour mineurs. Il contribue à la promotion du développement durable et à la réduction de la pauvreté dans le domaine de l’enfance, dans des contextes fragiles.
