Celebrating 1 August differently

Call for Research Projects with Russia by the University of Geneva

On April 16, 2020, the University of Geneva in its role of Leading Swiss House for Scientific and Technological Cooperation with Russia announced a contest for Research Preparation Grants (RPG). The RPG call is launched within the framework of the bilateral cooperation program of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation aimed at fostering scientific cooperation and academic mobility between Switzerland and Russia, one of the priority countries in the area of research.


DACHLI_FEST 2020 in St. Petersburg

The opening of the new Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow was a great opportunity to increase Switzerland’s visibility in Russia. In the weeks before and after the opening, we intensified our efforts in communication and public diplomacy with the aim to promote a multifaceted image of Switzerland and to offer some insights into the work of an embassy. Although many of these efforts were concentrated in Moscow, we tried to reach out to the regions and developed some new formats. Increasing interaction with a young audience is one of the priorities of our Embassy.

Grand Opening of the New Embassy of Switzerland in Moscow

From 18 to 20 June 2019, Switzerland will inaugurate its new embassy in Moscow, in the Chistye Prudy district in the heart of the Russian capital. The opening ceremony will take place on 18 June, followed by two days of gatherings with our partners. Switzerland now has a beautiful showcase in the heart of Moscow that will be a flagship of Swiss savoir-faire and design. The new embassy brings together under one roof all of the actors involved in promoting Switzerland's interests in Russia.
