The Specialist service Development Finance Statistics is responsible the collection, processing and dissemination of detailed data on development financing. It provides statistics on international cooperation to the Federal Administration, Parliament and the public.
This specialist service is the Swiss statistics unit responsible for liaising with the OECD's Development Assistance Committee (DAC). It works with the DAC to produce definitions and reports on financial flows related to development. It participates in the International Aid Transparency Initiative (IATI), which aims to increase aid transparency and promote data exchange and quality at international level.
