Visa and entry to Switzerland
Consular services: We ask you to make an appointment in advance for a personal visit via email: istanbul@eda.admin.ch. Swiss passports and/or identity cards can be applied for directly online: Passport and identity card
Visa: No information is given over the phone for visa matters. You can find all information on our website Visas and entry to Switzerland. For written inquiries about Schengen visas (< 90 days) you can use the Schengen contact form. For inquiries about national visas (> 90 days) please use the National Visa contact form.
Helpline Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA)
The FDFA Helpline provides detailed information 365 days a year around the clock about the following FDFA services:
