The Consulate General is responsible for all consular services for the Swiss population in Turkey, for visa matters as well as to represent the Swiss interests in the areas of economy, culture, education and science.

Visa and entry to Switzerland

Consular services: We ask you to make an appointment in advance for a personal visit via email: istanbul@eda.admin.ch. Swiss passports and/or identity cards can be applied for directly online: Passport and identity card

Visa: No information is given over the phone for visa matters. You can find all information on our website Visas and entry to Switzerland. For written inquiries about Schengen visas (< 90 days) you can use the Schengen contact form. For inquiries about national visas (> 90 days) please use the National Visa contact form.
