Swizerland plans to support the capacities of the NGO Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in the provision of lifesaving protection and basic multi-sectorial assistance to vulnerable populations and survivors of protection violations in front-line areas of Ukraine. Emergency assistance is provided after displacement, to cover unmet needs of evacuees and to conflict affected populations after shelling in the form of cash and material support, protection services, psychosocial and legal assistance.
Ukraine: Right to Protection (R2P) Mobile humanitarian assistance to conflict-affected population of Chernihiv and Sumy regions

The leading local protection NGO, R2P will provide protection assistance to the conflict-affected population of Chernihiv and Sumy regions in Ukraine. Mobile protection teams deliver primary health care consultations, registration and legal counseling services, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS). This project will strengthen R2P by empowering it to execute its own strategies and no longer be just an implementing partner of the international agencies.
