Il est parlé par environ 23 % de la population, principalement dans l’ouest du pays, à Genève, dans le canton de Vaud, à Neuchâtel, dans le Jura, ainsi que dans certaines parties des cantons de Fribourg et du Valais.

To mark the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and China as well as the China-Switzerland Year of Culture and Tourism, the group exhibition “Breakdown Playlist” featuring contemporary Swiss and Chinese artists officially opened today at Beijing Inside-Out Art Museum. The event was co-hosted by the Embassy of Switzerland in China and Inside-Out Art Museum. Swiss Ambassador to China Jürg Burri and the museum’s director, Lu Yinghua, attended the opening and delivered remarks.

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and China, the Swiss Embassy in China together with Presence Switzerland, and the Chinese Language Centre of China Media Group (CMG) have co-produced a two-episode documentary, Into Switzerland showcasing Swiss trust, innovation and sustainability. The first episode will premiere on CCTV-4 on September 14 at 22:00, with the second episode airing on September 21.

President of the Council of States Andrea Caroni (FDP, AR) will undertake an official visit to China and Japan from 25 to 30 August, accompanied by a high-level parliamentary delegation. The visit marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Switzerland and the People’s Republic of China and coincides with the World Expo in Osaka, Japan.
