On September 12, 2017 a Swiss Lecture for Ukrainian IT Community took place in Kyiv.
The event featured Swiss and Ukrainian music and Swiss specialties. Special guests: Swiss musician Liz Schneider and the Ukrainian singer Svyatoslav Vakarchuk/”Okean Elzy”

On 11 June, from 10:00 until 22:00, the annual fair «Francophonie Day» takes place on Kostiolna Street. For the second time, Switzerland participates with a diverse programme, featuring theatre and dance performances, cooking classes and tastings and a children’s programme. The fair is a charity event. Entry is free.

Ukrainian Architecture Festival CANactions is attended by urbanists and architects from Ukraine and other European countries. The architects hold workshops, give lectures, share ideas and experiences and engage in discussions with a wider public and the media. Politicians and investors are offered the opportunity to get acquainted with contemporary trends in international architecture.

Kyiv International Lecture Series
In the framework of the Kyiv International Lectures Series Mr. Eric Martin addressed the important role of the civil society in fighting corruption. Civil society demands integrity, transparency and accountability not only from companies but also from public authorities. He explained how Transparency International acted as a watchdog and reacted to wrongdoing. Rules and regulations were not sufficient to fight corrupt behavior. Laws might be enforced. He explored what could be done to raise awareness of corruption risks and to engage governments in preventing and fighting corruption.

Swiss-Georgian pianist Tamar Beraia and her sister Georgian pianist Natia Beraia will open the 9th International Easter Assembly. The event is supported by the Embassy of Switzerland and the Embassy of Georgia.

Patrick Bartholomew "Bertie" Ahern, served as Prime Minister (Taoiseach) of Ireland from 26 June 1997 to 7 May 2008. Before he became Taoiseach, he served as Minister for Labour (1987–91) and Minister for Finance (1991–94) and as Deputy Prime Minister (Tánaiste) of the Republic of Ireland.
