Humanitarian Aid (HA) Operations ensures the SDC's operational readiness to undertake rapid response operations.
HA Operations
The HA Operations section provides humanitarian expertise across the SDC in the areas of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, disaster risk reduction, protection of civilians, cash assistance, education in emergencies, 'build back better' and geographical information systems. The section also provides the SDC with Swiss Humanitarian Aid Unit expertise (direct actions) for the implementation of its projects. HA Operations is therefore the operational link between the SHA and the SDC's geographical, multilateral and thematic divisions and is responsible for the operational management of the SHA.
