Anamcara Trio

The Swiss trio of Anamcara (meaning ‘soul friend’) is made up of three young musicians: pianist Florian Gabele, cellist Cécile Grüebler, and violinist Kristina Brita Heinimann. As highly sought-after chamber musicians who have won international acclaim for their musical expressiveness, the trio has been invited to perform at the Future Star Youth Arts Festival to be held in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and Beijing this August.

For their first performances in China, the virtuosos will present a program paying special tribute to Swiss composers, including Arthur Honegger (1892–1955) and Ernest Bloch (1880 –1959). The group will also travel and perform in Shanghai and Tianjin at the festival’s off-show venues.

The inaugural Future Star Youth Arts Festival features a lineup of six groups from around the world. Prior to the opening of the festival at the Baotou Grand Theater in Inner Mongolia on August 12, a multimedia exhibition National Day will be held at the theater, which beckons with unique opportunities to learn about the tourism and cultural diversity in Switzerland.
