"Make Music Hong Kong!" (MMHK) is an annual music festival launched in 2018 by the Alliance Française de Hong Kong (AFHK) and the Consulate General of France in Hong Kong and Macau (CGF). It was inspired by its French counterpart, Fête de la musique (World Music Day), which is held worldwide on 21 June on the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere.

MMHK is for EVERYONE, as it is free and open to the general public, and welcomes all people and all kinds of music in a joyful and festive atmosphere every year.

Switzerland will be represented again this year by Swiss singer, guitarist and songwriter Andy Schaub. After his successful debut at last year's MMHK, where he submitted his music electronically due to the at that time Covid circumstances, we are even more pleased to see him live on stage this year.

Andy Schaub, a Swiss resident of Hong Kong, is a music addict and storyteller. He used to find inspiration for his music in the evergreen hills of a small village in the countryside of Basel, Switzerland. Now he is swimming in Chinese culture. He has embarked on a journey to recycle sounds from daily life and combine them with electronic music and a soft touch of living room vibe - warm and intimate.

Andy performs at Wanch in Wanchai on June 16 from 8:15 to 8:45 p.m. and at Fringe Club, Fringe Dairy in Central on June 17 from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Location: June 16: The Wanch in Wanchai; June 17: Hong Kong Fringe Club in Central
