China is the nation that sends the highest number of students abroad to study and the Chinese overseas education market has maintained its growth over the past decade. In recent years, Chinese students have been considering a wider range of destinations than they were before the pandemic, which presents more opportunities for Swiss schools, as Switzerland boasts some of the most reputable curricula in technological research facilities, hotel management schools, public and private universities as well as boarding schools and business schools.
Following this trend, the fourth Swiss Education Fair (SEF) China 2023 will take place on Saturday, 16th September in Beijing and Sunday, 17th September in Shanghai. The fair is co-organized by Switzerland Global Enterprise & Swiss Business Hub China. It is supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Beijing and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Shanghai. It is a platform for Swiss education institutions to showcase their latest programs and personally interact with prospective students and their parents.
On SEF China 2023, there are 10 participating Swiss educational institutions:
