The annual meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council will be held in the Basel Congress Centre at the beginning of December 2014. Organising this major political event is one of Switzerland's obligations as the Chair of the OSCE in 2014. The foreign ministers of the 57 OSCE participating States and 11 OSCE partner States, as well as around 1,200 delegates and 200 journalists, are due to attend. The Ministerial Council will make decisions on current issues concerning the OSCE and the Swiss Chairmanship's activities.
