Asia G20 Strategy 2025-2028

On 20 June 2025, the Federal Council adopted its new Strategy for Asia G20 Strategy 2025-2028.

This issue places the spotlight on Switzerland's work at the UN's headquarters in New York and Vienna, with Swiss officers reporting on their wide-ranging tasks as well as diplomats on anticipatory science diplomacy at the UN Security Council. It also covers the protection of civilian and humanitarian personnel in conflict areas, combating human trafficking and the elections in Kosovo.

On 20 December 2024, the Federal Council adopted its new Strategy for Africa 2025–2028. Peace and security, prosperity and competitiveness, as well as the environment, democracy and governance are the priorities of the strategy. In view of the growing political and economic importance of the African continent, Switzerland intends to strengthen its partnerships with the continent in the interests of both sides.
