The FDFA, the Federal Office of Culture (FOC) and the Canton of Geneva found a new solution for financing the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum of Geneva from 2027 onwards. For the first time, the Federal Office of Culture will contribute CHF 170,000 per year to the museum's funding. The Canton of Geneva intends to contribute CHF 400,000. The FDFA plans to allocate up to CHF 400,000 per year to activities and projects. This joint solution by the FDFA, the FOC and the Canton of Geneva ensures that the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum continues its activities after 2027. The museum is an important partner institution for strengthening Geneva's humanitarian tradition and an essential tool for raising awareness of the importance of international humanitarian law.
